Weekend of Open Studios

On Saturday, 14 August and Sunday, 15 August 2021, the “Weekend of Open Studios in Reinickendorf” will take place for the second time. On Saturday from 2pm-8pm and on Sunday from 12pm-6pm, 93 Reinickendorf artists will open their studio spaces to an interested public. 16 artists with individual studios scattered throughout the district will take part, as will the area’s five larger art locations: Künstlerhof Frohnau (Hubertusweg 60, 13465 Berlin), Kunstzentrum Tegel-Süd (Neheimer Str. 56-60, 13507 Berlin), Atelieretage AR_29 (Alt-Reinickendorf 29, 13407 Berlin), Monopol (Provinzstraße 40-44, 13409 Berlin) and Atelierhaus Auguste (Auguste-Viktoria-Allee 99-100, 13403 Berlin), which will be newly founded in spring 2021.

The opening will take place on Sunday, 14 August at 2 pm at Künstlerhof Frohnau.

Sat, 3 pm Studio concert by Bardo Henning (Bösendorfer grand piano) and Johannes Barthelmes (tenor and soprano saxophone)

Sat, 6pm Concert with Hein Tint, percussion (Pat Waing)
Hein Tint from Myanmar combines classical pieces of his country with new compositions of his own on the 21 tuned drums of the Hsaing Waing.

The studios and artists’ houses offer a varied supporting programme with free admission, including guided tours, workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations of artistic techniques, talks and concerts.
