Künstlerhof Frohnau (KHF) has existed for 25 years and runs studios, workshops, artist residencies, workshops, the Ruckhaberle Award as well as exhibition, education and performance programs, under the artistic direction of Kaya Behkalam and Setareh Shahbazi and in collaboration with a network of artists and curators.

The thematic focus of our work lies in the examination of our immediate surroundings: in the middle of the forest, on the border with Brandenburg and directly on the former “death strip”. These complex historical, social and ecological aspects form the framework for our cultural-political work.
