Large Studio Space for Rent at Künstlerhof Frohnau
Starting September 1st, we are renting a large studio for artists or writers at Künstlerhof Frohnau: 200 sqm, ground floor, consisting of one large studio space, as well as 3 smaller rooms, kitchen, bathroom/WC. Very quiet, 2 entrances, garden use possible. Ceiling height is approximately 3m. Use of additional workshops by arrangement. Rent: €4/sqm + currently €4/sqm advance payment for utilities and heating costs (1.600 € in total). Internet connection can be set up independently. The current tenant is seeking a transfer agreement of €2,500.

Künstlerhof Frohnau is a non-profit association located in the middle of the forest in the north of Berlin, accessible by public transport (S 1 & Bus 125). Parking for cars is available. We are looking for applicants who are willing to actively contribute to the vibrant community of Künstlerhof. Our code of conduct can be viewed here.

FAQs:
Can only individual artists apply?
No, artists can also apply for joint use of the studio. However, a main tenant is required.
Is it a residential lease?
No. These are workspaces. The studio is equipped with a kitchen and bathroom, so artists can stay overnight. However, official registration is not possible, nor is a residential lease.
What is the duration of the lease?
It is a commercial lease with a 3-year term and an option to extend after.
Can I view the space in advance?
As we expect many applications, there is a 2-stage application process. We kindly ask for your understanding. Please first send us an application with a self-description and artistic portfolio. Subsequently, selected applicants will be invited to a viewing appointment, probably in late July.
